OK! Lets give it a go! The weather outside is frightful but inside it’s …. also kind of cold. Either way, there’s no way I’m going outside to craft so I will instead begin revamping my shop. Beginning with a french cleat wall! Rasps are up first. This is an inexpensive but nice set that has served me well for years.

I’ve got a nice cedar off cut that I will cut down once it’s not 0f outside. In the meantime, I’ve measured out my spaces and punched them for drilling.

A half inch dia. forstner bit (the same size as the handle) to start. Forstner bits are great for projects you want to look nice as they are designed to make nice smooth edges as opposed to a standard bit which will tear the wood fibers.
